Ball python breeding project!!!!

Figured id make a thread about the breeding. Face is bringing the male by now so i can introduce him to the female. I will be acquiring a few different morphs both male and female. Its not hard to breed them its really up to them. Drop the temps this time of year for a few months then heat them up again just before she lays the eggs. After laying the eggs it takes 30-55 days for them to hatch in the incubator at 91 degrees. Im hoping to have a ton of babies for sale ranging from 150-1000 dollars. The investment is steep but its well worth it. Ill use this thread to upload pictures during the process and give updates. For the next 3 months or so they will be banging on a 2-3 day on 2 day off schedule. That is all for now.

btw im looking to have 4 females prego so that will leave me with at least 18-20 sumthing eggs.

Also for those breeding snakes it is very important that you feed the female a ton during the next 3-4 months. the stress of the eggs will take a toll on her and she needs to be nice and plump. 2-4 mice a week should put her close to 2000 grams when she lays the eggs.

not yet, but they were very responsive to each other and its looking likely to get a clutch from them... the little bits of body language we saw was a good indication... they have similar patterns which are beautiful, so chances are the offspring will look similar and thats a great thing... i cant wait for the 1st hatch

all i did was put him in that huge plastic tub i have and held the mouse in front of him with the tongs. he smelt it and then lunged at it and wrapped it up. f\t is much better for the snakes any1 since they cant harm them in any way. i either gotta start to breed mice or wait till the next reptile show and pick up a bag of 75 or so
