comcast vs. fios

i will be moving into my house in about a month and i need to make a decision. verizon fios or comcast. i dont have much experience with either service, i have io where i live now and i hate it. right now i am leaning toward fios. just looking for some input

FiOs is expensive but the best damn cable service I've ever had. I was always happy with iO & this one knocks it out the park. Stay the FAWK away from comcast.. everyone I know say it's a nightmare.

comcast is like an evil io with worse service.

io is terrible, i can't stand it. we have fios and couldn't be happier. and it's not really that expensive. the package we have with fios costs us only about $10 more than io would have, and we have much faster internet, more hd chanels, and multi-room dvr. so it's well worth it.

ive got comcast internet, had it for years. but yeah their customer service is horrific. switched tv's to direct when my comcast bills were averaging $200 a month after fees

i have been looking at the triple packages and it seems like fios is actually cheaper than comcast by about $10/month.

im not all that concerned with super fast internet or phone call quality, my main concern is the quality of tv picture and lag from the box. io has tons of lag with the cable box.

fios boxes are much faster than io.

its 1000x faster than iO (although I've never seen comcast menu speed though)
